I know some people who try to locate themselves in niches that sell high valued products only and they do not make enough sales, consequently low commission as well. It’s better to target those items that sell quickly first, where people do not do a lot of thinking and research before buying.

This new vertical was touted as an alternative to Etsy. As a seller, Amazon allows you to sell your handmade wares on the site. In some instances, you can even have them listed as Prime and FBA items. The reviews on Handmade are mixed. Apparently “handmade” items don’t need to meet the stringent requirements of Etsy. There also isn’t the one-on-one customer support aspect that comes with Etsy. Amazon is largely a mass retailer connecting individual buyers and sellers that may never cross paths again. One possibility is to use different tracking IDs. Of these you can generate up to 100. To do this, you can simply generate a new tracking ID and assign it to only one Amazon Affiliate link on your website. In the statistics of the different tracking IDs, you can then see which and how often each of the links were clicked and how many products were purchased through them.

The point of the service is to encourage you to leave reviews of the product. This typically is reserved for newly released products. They don’t have a huge amount of products, but they are at great prices. for instance, you can get a 3-piece stainless steel barbecue set for only $5. That’s about 80% off the price it would sell on Amazon. As noted, you get the price because you have to submit a product review on Amazon. Companies are spending money to reduce the price in order to get reviews. You have to be honest in your review.
To provide concrete examples, his website told me to look for Winnebago (WGO) in August-September 2017, YY Inc.'s (YY) incredible 25% shoot up after their amazing quarter in November 2017, and Square's (SQ) ungodly skyrocket in November 2017. I was following someone else’s guide and they said you should have a static front page, but I feel like I would be getting more views and more clicks if I had the opposite ie; my latest blogs on the homepage. I also checked my stats and when I link to an article/review people stay longer. When I link to the home page they don’t stay as long AND a higher bounce rate. My bounce rate for the homepage is literally 3,000 in the past month. They hit that homepage and stay for around 7 minutes which means most are probably reading the static page, but then they just… leave.
I was very pleasantly surprised that the writer of this book is letting his secrets out to potential competitors. This book is full of real, actionable advice from a guy who clearly has had real success as a YouTube content creator. I have personally checked and validated that many of his videos have hundreds of thousands of views. He seems to have unlocked the code on what makes YouTube content go viral.
It’s probably worth asking an account rep if you can add “nofollow” to those links and stay compliant. For SEO, it’s not worth worrying about probably. On October 16, 2016, Apple filed a trademark infringement case against Mobile Star LLC for selling counterfeit Apple products to Amazon. Update: I used to recommend carousel style Amazon ads, but they don’t exist anymore. When I used them they converted about 3 times better than static style Amazon banner ads. I suggest using Native Shopping Ads instead which is essentially a replacement to the carousel style ads but allows for greater flexibility. You can display products by recommendation from the content, by search or with other options. You can sign up as an Amazon associate straight away without a site. As long as you have the URL and it belongs to you. They won’t approve your site until you have made your first commission. So what I would do is get the site built and add all the content that you need. Make sure its finished. Then sign up to the Amazon associates, add in your aff codes to your review pages and then you just wait for your first sale. Make sure you read the amazon T&Cs so your site is compliant. If it isn’t then they will not approve your site.

Generally, these will be more long-tail terms such as, “Blendtec 570 vs Vitamix 5300”, or “greenworks mower vs black and decker”. The traffic coming from keywords like these will be very targeted, as the searcher has the intention to purchase something.
I have about 4 authority style sites and the rest are all mini ones. I like the money the mini’s can make but there isn’t any attractive exit strategy with those so that’s why I like to do a little of both, but I believe authority style sites have the biggest upside. As for income split I’d have to go back through all the tracking data but I’d peg it somewhat in favor of authority sites (before I sold one of my largest ones)
This was a very informative book on identifying stocks before they make big moves. It's a great book for someone who knows a little about stocks, but would like to dive deeper into why they move up in price and what to look for. The first 100 pages (chapter 1) was nothing but stock charts and I can see why they are their, but I think that 100 pages was a bit much. I would suggest looking at the first 10 or so charts and then proceed to chapter two. Then once you've read further into it and understand how to read charts better, take a look back at the chapter 1 and apply what you've learned. Once you get past the writers incessant plugging of his IBD website, there really is some very helpful information in this book about the stock market.

Now click on your blog posting link (Press This by default in WordPress). If you're using WordPress, you should now see two pieces of link code in your posting form, the first one ending with "Associates Build-A-Link >< /a >". Delete through that point. The second part is a link to the product with your Amazon Associate ID built in. Now just write your product review, choose the appropriate categories for it, and hit Publish.

The shipping thing drives me nuts. It takes significantly longer for me to get anything from Amazon (WEEKS if I choose free shipping) than everyone else. Why? Because I live in a high crime area and want everything shipped to my p.o. box. I recently placed and order and chose “free shipping” because the delivery date was one day earlier than had I chosen the paid ship option – until I got to the end, whereupon my new ship date was an additional FIVE DAYS later. Get a p.o. box and try it and you’ll quickly see I’m not lying. We’re punished. Amazon whines a lot about combating thievery (let us in your house, let us in your car) but they’re strangely silent on p.o. boxes, the absolute safest option available to anyone. What’s THAT about?! I work at the USPS plant where my p.o. box is and my box is literally twenty steps from where the Amazon packages are processed – if Amazon would just ship the ****** thing out! Keep checking my phone but, nope, it STILL hasn’t shipped. Btw, USPS and FedEx have a business relationship so they can’t blame it on that. For this reason, Prime was a joke so I cancelled. And because Amazon always wanted additional money from me for every movie I wanted to watch. Kind of defeats the point. Couldn’t see any benefit to having it.

Chris, I am glad you have had good fortune with amazon, I think I have chosen the wrong niche, it appears to be very competitive, I have had my site for 4 mo, and have made zero, however, it may not be all bad, I still work on content, and I do get indexing, however, I am at a loss on how to find keywords on ranking content; If I could find this out, then I could do some seo on any LSI keywords. I do agree about having a nice looking website, I paid far much less then you did, and I think I turned out with a site that looks very nice; If visitors do not think you are legit, or if you content looks like trash, then the will bounce before you can blink. I think once I can find those magic LSI keywords and rank them, then I think things will turn around, as I have also invested quite a bit up until this point.

Armed with this knowledge you’d think that people would spend more time testing their theme or website layout to determine the optimal way to make money from their website right?
